American Civil Rights Foundation v LAUSD: APALC joins other civil rights and legal groups in intervening in two related cases involving consideration of race in the policies of the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), filed by the Pacific Legal Foundation. The court agrees that LAUSD’s programs do not violate the California Constitution under specific exceptions to Proposition 209 for existing consent decrees.
