Thai Sweatshop Workers Citizenship Ceremony

 Fourteen years after they were first discovered enslaved in a suburban Los Angeles sweatshop, APALC organizes a special ceremony to celebrate the dozens of former (and current) garment workers from Thailand who have recently gained their U.S. citizenship, most with APALC’s help, after a long and difficult journey that nearly included their deportation.
