Development and Special Events Manager

Low

Hilary Low is Advancing Justice-LA’s Development and Special Events Manager. She spearheads the production of fundraising events, such as the annual Anniversary Dinner, and supports program development and donor activities.

Low was previously a Communications intern in 2011 and then a Development intern in 2012. Prior to joining Advancing Justice-LA as full-time staff in 2013, Low worked for various California elected officials and at the White House. Active in the Chinese community both abroad and locally, she has taught English overseas and served as a mentor and tutor at the Chinatown Youth Center in L.A., helping Chinese and Hispanic immigrant students pass the California High School Exit Exam. Low also serves on the planning board for the Annual 3on3 for Chinatown Basketball Tournament that benefits recreational community programs in Chinatown, Los Angeles.

Low received her bachelor’s degree in political science-public service from the University of California, Riverside.
