Jaime "Jimmy" Castaneda is an Equal Justice Works Emerson Paralegal for the Immigration unit at Asian Americans Advancing Justice-LA. He is participating in a two-year project with Equal Justice Works that seeks to provide high-quality, high-volume legal services to immigrants seeking DACA and other forms of immigration relief in underserved communities. As part of this effort, Jaime is partnering with the College Track program at Jordan High School in Watts to provide immigration services to students there and the greater South LA community.  

Jimmy is also a mentor for a college-access program that mentors students from his former High School in East LA. He graduated from UCLA with a bachelor’s in Political Science and History.
