Povi-Tamu Bryant is Asian Americans Advancing Justice-LA’s Leadership Development in Intergroup Relations (LDIR) Program Coordinator, facilitating community-based workshops to help teams discover the value of shared power, diversity, and inclusion. She has collaborated with INCITE! LA, Freedom Schools LA, and Black Lives Matter-LA to build strong relationships in the community. Povi-Tamu also supports Advancing Justice's Nonprofit Center Capacity Building work which aims to strengthen the organizational sustainability of community-based organizations.
 
As a black queer womyn, Povi-Tamu is committed to working with people to bring an intersectional understanding to the ways the communities build, live, and interact with each other.  
 
Povi-Tamu is a graduate of UC Irvine's Global Cultures Program and a Certified Mediator of Asian Pacific American Dispute Resolution Center (APADRC).
