Grants Systems Assistant

Position SummaryUnder the supervision of the Grants Systems Director, the Grants Systems Assistant provides essential administrative support to the program to ensure key deliverables are met.  Duties include maintaining current grants database; assisting with the migration to a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system; and ensuring grants documents are timely submitted.  This position will also provide administrative assistant to the Grants Systems department and across the Development department as necessary.

Interim Senior Accountant

Asian Americans Advancing Justice - Los Angeles seeks an Interim Senior Accountant. The Interim Senior Accountant will properly apply all accounting standards and practices. This position is responsible for the preparation of accurate and timely accounting and financial reports on a cyclical as well as ad hoc basis. The Interim Sr. Accountant performs and analyzes regular activities such as revenue collection, payroll preparation, and invoice payments. This position also supports the organization and Finance Director in all audit processes, while ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all accounting processes and procedures.

Human Resources Director

Victor Lopez is the Human Resources Director at Advancing Justice-Los Angeles. He has over 13 years of experience in Human Resources and has worked for both small and large companies and also in higher education. Victor received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin and received his Master's degree from Purdue University.

He enjoys reading, listening to music, watching a good television series, and staying physically active. 

Executive Assistant

Prior to joining Advancing Justice-LA, Michi worked at the Little Tokyo Service Center as the Executive Assistant, Office Manager and Receptionist.  Outside of work, she likes to stay active and volunteer with different community organizations such as East San Gabriel Valley Japanese Community Center, Nisei Week and her church, Montebello Plymouth Congregational Church.  

Michi graduated with a B.A. in Liberal Studies from California State University, Los Angeles.
