Staff Attorney - Immigration

Reporting to the Immigration Project Director, the Staff Attorney works directly on complex immigration cases, with a current emphasis on immigration cases dealing with victims of crimes (U, VAWA, T visas), and removal defense cases, provides technical support and capacity building to other nonprofit organizations on immigration, and staffs evening and weekend workshops. Primary duties assigned to the staff attorney include, but are not limited to, providing direct application assistance in immigration cases, providing legal representation for diverse clients with complex immigration cases before USCIS and Immigration Court, and conducting immigration trainings for other CBOs and partner agencies. This position does not have any direct reports.

Director, Immigration Program Administration

Angelica Peña serves as the Director of Immigration Program Administration within Direct Services. She oversees the unit's grant administration, program evaluation, and the network of immigration and citizenship partners. In addition, she leads our national citizenship capacity building portfolio of organizations providing naturalization services to immigrant communities across the country.
