Position Summary: Through the New Americans Campaign (NAC), Advancing Justice – LA is collaborating with the Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC) to explore virtual review of naturalization applications through the online platform, Citizenshipworks. The project’s goal is to increase the number of LPRs applying for naturalization by developing an inclusive, replicable, scalable model for mobilizing LPRs outside the group-processing model. Position Summary: Advancing Justice-LA seeks a motivated, detail-oriented, collaborative Grant Writer to work with Development and senior staff to cultivate funding opportunities and secure grant funding to help meet the annual operating budget of $ 13 million for the multiple programs serving AANHPI communities. Under the direction of the Director of Institutional Giving, the Grant Writer will help develop and execute foundation, corporate, and government grant proposals.
Responsibilities and Duties:

Position Summary: The staff attorney is a full-time position working in the Advancing Justice-LA office under the supervision of the Citizenship Project Director. Looking for a highly motivated, self-starter who is passionate about public service work with a background in immigration law. The staff attorney will work directly on complex naturalization cases, provide technical support and capacity building to local API-serving nonprofit organizations on naturalization, and support evening and weekend citizenship workshops.
