Vice President of Program Services

Tang, Esq.

Bonnie Tang, Vice President of Program Services at Advancing Justice-LA, has 30 years of nonprofit and education experience.  At Advancing Justice - LA, she worked for 9 years in Development, most recently as Co-Director of Development and for 15 years as a staff attorney and project director.  She has provided advocacy for the community in civil rights areas including voting rights, census, language access, hate crime prevention, and affirmative action and has represented low-income clients in family law cases. 

Prior to joining Advancing Justice-LA, she was a public school teacher in San Francisco and in Philadelphia. Tang is a graduate of UCLA School of Law, received a credential from the Graduate School of Education at University of California, Berkeley and an A.B. from Occidental College.
