Program Assistant - Health Access Project


Yanzie Chow is the Program Assistant for Asian Americans Advancing Justice-LA's Health Access Project. She supports the team's efforts to address the healthcare needs of AANHPI, Latino and underserved populations by liaising with Health Justice Network and community partners, coordinating administrative tasks, drafting reports and advocacy statements, and contributing to outreach and enrollment activities. 

Prior to joining Advancing Justice-LA, Yanzie enjoyed her exposure to diverse communities and nonprofit work as a Health Leads Advocate, an intern at Islington Mind, and the Project Director for Summer In the City/DESTINO. She also developed an interest in public policy while working at the Massachusetts Statehouse. 

Yanzie received her bachelor's degree in Psychology (minor in Public Health) from Boston University.
