Choi, Esq.

Kat Kwi Choi is a staff attorney with Advancing Justice's Impact Litigation Unit. She graduated from UCLA School of Law with concentrations in Critical Racial Studies and David J. Epstein Public Interest Program and Policy. 

During law school, she clerked with US Department of Labor, Regional Office of the Solicitor, Wage Justice Center, and Los Angeles Alliance for New Economy. She has nine years of immigrant and worker rights' organizing and advocacy experience from working with Korean and Asian communities as Associate Director of Korean American Resource and Cultural Center in Chicago, Illinois. 

Her dedication to worker justice began when she developed a Workplace Justice Campaign targeting small businesses and low-wage workers to assess unmet legal needs and handle individual labor claims.
